Arizona Did It
And a lot of the credit should go to this guy. Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald had a phenomenal game with 152 yards, 9 receptions and 3 touchdowns.
But he got a lot of help from a clutch defense and veteran QB Kurt Warner who had 279 yards, 4 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions.
So for the first time in franchise history the Cardinals are heading to the Super Bowl. Ending the second longest(after baseball's Chicago Cubs 100 years) championship drought in American sports history! The team no one believed in has made it and its been 60 some years in the making.
They'll face of against the winners of the AFC Championship, either the Baltimore Ravens or Pittsburgh Steelers.

Cardinals VS. Eagles
Watching the game, and just saw one of the greatest pass plays ever by the Cardinals.
Lateral to Warner long pass to Fitzgerald and touch down!
I know Kurt Warner's a good guy and all, but those gloves are dumb.

Oh Snap!
The Cardinals beat the Panthers! What the Hell!
I am now a believer in the Arizona Cardinals.
Just watched the Eagles beat the number 1 Giants, So it will be a rematch of the bird fight earlier this year, but I think the Cards will have more confidence and will be at home, so I really think they can make it into the Super Bowl for the first time in their history as the oldest football team in the league.
About to watch the Chargers play the Steelers. In the snow.

BALTIMORE
53 seconds left in the games Ravens just kicked in a field goal to break the tie and make it 13-10
Will any magic happen for the Titans?
17 sec. incomplete pass, oh sheit! 4th down!
NOTHING................................................
Baltimore Takes over on downs!
Fucking fantastic game! I'm right so far lets see if the make it to the SUPER BOWL.
Rookie QB Flaco making NFL history.

Watching the Titans Ravens game.
Fucking clash of the greatest defenses in the AFC!
Second half now, Baltimore needs to start letting Flaco pass the damn ball! I know he's a rookie and all but sheit
Just as I typed that he threw a great pass but the receiver went all butterfingers.
I might miss the Arizona/Carolina game because a friend is having a birthday party. God, don't they know the playoffs are on!?!
No, they don't, but it's okay friends are more important than football right?
In other news the Arena Football league canceled its 2009 season because of the recession.
And all this coach firing and hiring is fun to watch. Being a Browns fan I was kinda bummed Bill Cowher said no to their offer, and it looks like he won't return at all.
As for Mike Shanahan, he may end up being the Cowboys head coach, maybe in 2010.

NFL Playoffs
So the Divisional Playoffs are coming up!
Last week I was surprised that the Cardinals beat the Falcons, good for them though.
When I can't really decide what team to root for I normally default to my childhood favorites. My favorite teams when I was young where the Dolphins, Cardinals, Carolina, Rams and the Oilers. All those teams made it to the playoffs (if you call the titans oilers) except the Rams (kinda dislike them since they went gold).
Anyway the Panthers and Cardinals go at it this weekend, normally I would cheer on the underdog Cards but, I'm going for the Panthers because I think they're the only team strong enough to beat the Giants and whoever comes out of the AFC.
Her are my Picks
NFC
Giants over the Eagles
Panthers over the Cardinals
AFC
Ravens over Titans
Chargers over Steelers Upsets across the AFC!
Super Bowl Pick: Panthers vs Ravens*
*If the Steelers beat the Chargers, they will beat the Ravens or titans most likely.
