I am a football fan. I go to school in the least football fan type of college.(The Evergreen State College of Olympia, WA) This is the my second blog and I hope it will be an outlet for my knowledge and love of the sport. I grew up with football, played it as a kid and in high school, frankly I miss it.
The title of my blog, In the Trenches refers to the area and the action that goes on with the players on the football field between the offensive and defensive linemen.
Being a linemen is one of the hardest and most underrated positions in football.
I was a chubby short kid dreaming of running in touchdowns. But when I started playing football I accepted my fate as a linemen. Now I'm proud I was a linemen, although I still think I would've been a great fullback.
Soon I hope to write sports for the college newspaper and find the hidden sports fans of Evergreen and bring them together.
